SUPER RODA!!!!

On Saturday, October 16th, Capoeira Nagô Milwaukee will be hosting what will hopefully become an annual event: the Rocktober Roda, also known as the SUPER RODA!!! Groups from all over the Midwest will converge on Milwaukee, WI to play capoeira in a first-ever, incredible event full of axe', energy, and fun.

Event details are as follows:

Date: Saturday, October 16th, 2010

Time: 2:00pm-3:30pm

Place: Riverside High School, 1615 E Locust St., Milwaukee, WI 53211-3298

Confirmed guests include: Instructor Brucutu (Capoeira Brasil- Chicago, IL; Instructor Mosca (Omulu Guanabara- Madison, WI); Professor Sabidinho (Raizes do Brasil, Madison, WI); Graduado Sapo (Capoeira Nagô- Milwaukee, WI) and many more!!!

Weather permitting, we may bring the roda into the street after 3:30pm.

The batizado is our annual celebration inducting new students into the art of capoeira and acknowledging another year of hard training for seasoned students.
